Faith + Action: Protect Hungry Kansans

Join us and show that Kansans of all faiths are ready to fight against hunger. Kansas Kansas Interfaith Action has teamed up with Network Lobby and Kansas Appleseed for a vigil and community action centered on protecting SNAP.

Interfaith leaders from Topeka and surrounding areas will gather in front of Senator Pat Roberts's Topeka office to demonstrate the faith community’s support of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in Farm Bill negotiations. The faith leaders will call on Senator Pat Roberts, chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, to stay strong in support of a bipartisan bill that protects and strengthens SNAP.

ALL are invited to take part.
